Quarterly Payroll Taxes Due October 31st!

Employers should know that their next quarterly payroll tax return is due Tuesday, October 31st. A few areas are exempt from this deadline, including Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, South Carolina, as well as parts of Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, and Israel. For specific dates on when the filing extension for these areas are due, click here.

How should you file your payroll tax return? The IRS highly encourages employers to file electronically to avoid any potential delays in receiving the tax return. If you choose this option, you may need to fill out and sign Form 8453-EMP, Employment Tax Declaration for an IRS e-file Return.
